Hello to you from myself, Jorlyn and all the other volunteer pastors and teachers at Global Family Outreach Ministry ?
We all hope and pray the Lord’s best for you!
Enclosed is our monthly update for August and pray you too would please prayerfully and carefully read it so you may know exactly what the Lord and your donations have accomplished for the month…
As you may remember, or already be aware, Summertime is a rainy season for the Philippines. Praise the Lord, there was only one feeding program that had to temporary move their feeding schedule to a different day because of flooding during August. Everything else went smoothly and nothing unusual occurred. Please keep in mind however, many of the children are poor and arrive by foot and walking to get to the feeding program, and then back home again. There are always other dangers and your consistent prayers for their safety are always greatly appreciated please.
I would like to share with you another update, Jorlyn and I are very serious regarding opening our 10th GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program as I have shared with you in past monthly newsletter updates. We are praying about this and currently contacting various pastors and other Christian workers. We would like to open in either December, or January, 2026. This is yet another huge step of faith but perhaps like you too, we want to finish well in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. While the world continues to fall into chaos, we want to provide Jesus to a world who desperately needs Him.
Regarding finances for the feeding programs, praise the Lord, we once again met our financial minimum to feed all the poor kids and teach them Bible lessons during the month. This is a hopeful sign that it may very well be time very soon to open our 10th feeding program so many additional children are fed spiritually and physically and also, their family members become saved and blessed through Christ as well.
Next, let me share with you this month’s featured child, this time from our Cebu Island poor children’s feeding program. Her name is Allysa and her teacher gave me this report:
“Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ great things He has done. I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to reach kids to Christ and being able to minister children. With your generosity and partnership, the ministry that entrusted to me has been easy and remarkable. It gives testimony of feeding physically where in many hunger children had been fed most especially it is always connected the feeding of God’s word too that the children need most. I have here one student name, Allysa, a teenage young woman who participated our weekly meetings. As the matter of fact, I thank God for her because sometimes she visited our church to join our Sunday worship. As I witnessed her growing it humbly reminds me of God’s grace on how He uses me as a simple vessel and I believe whatever growth God has made here you all have a great distribution. It amazed me of God’s working hand not to this young woman only but to every students I have in my area. In addition of Allysa, she was not only showed growth from spiritual side but to her home too, she said, since, she learn to fear [of the Lord] and have knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in her home she learn to listen her parents advice and being able to help, respect and obey them. She really did a great impact of Christ like young christian. Your generosity makes the difference. I cannot see growth and development without our partnership. All glory and honor belongs to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.”
Plainly, our teacher located at our Cebu GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program gives a clear direction where Allysa is going. Your faithfulness to help these children really is a testimony to not only God’s power to change the hearts of children, but is also that of His grace and love! Again, I say thank you so very much for what love you too have poured out into the lives of the 330 children each and every week! There are 329 other children that we serve and all of your donations coupled with prayers are doing miracles through Christ!
As always, and, I’d like to ask, if you choose to mail us a check or money order for the ministry, please always use the P.O. Box address listed on the website, never to our home. Sending a check to our home is not a guarantee that we will receive it. Also, and again, Jorlyn and I continue to pray that at some point soon, we can open our 10th feeding program. Would you please also pray about that for, and with us? We both would appreciate any and all prayers for these beautiful kids, the teachers and also other volunteers who help.

July 2025 Global Family Outreach Ministry Monthly Newsletter
Greetings and prayers for you from myself and all of the laborers at Global Family Outreach Ministry!
Praise the Lord for all of you that had given your love, prayers and support for our ministry! God bless you for all and everything you had provided to do so very much! You’re a true blessing!
July was a physically, and in some cases an exhausting month for many of the kids, teachers and pastors located at our 9 GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs. There were several very large hurricanes that hit the Philippines. Perhaps you seen some of our photos shared on social media, or on the news? Evacuations were ordered in many areas as flooding literally washed away houses and people. Praise the Lord, we did not receive any reports of loss of life in regards to any of the kids or the volunteers who operate the feeding programs.
Praise the Lord, again, we met our financial minimum to feed all the poor kids and teach them Bible lessons. That means the funds over the minimum during the month of June will hopefully still be available later this year when we open our 10th GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program in the Philippines. Jorlyn and I are asking the Lord for specific directions and placement. Would you also please ask the Lord to guide us for that? Please and hopefully do not mind, I want to once again share with you what I also shared last month with you regarding the importance regarding “what it takes to open a feeding program, it actually takes a lot of work and funding. Please allow me to explain, the first item we choose to do is hold an evangelistic outreach in an area. Usually that area is a remote barangay (town). We send a pastor and his team of church workers to share and evangelize Biblical Jesus with those whom he has gathered to hear him preach salvation through Jesus Christ. After the preaching we give out a snack and refreshment while the pastor makes a list of those children, their address and contact information for attending the new feeding program. We then purchase cooking utensils like pots, pans, etc. We also pay for a Global Family Outreach Ministry Feeding Program banner so the adults and children always know where the feeding program is being held. So, as you can see, that is our initial work and costs just to get started.” I share this information with you again in case someone missed this information last month. I want everyone to have a chance to understand the process of opening a GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program and also to take comfort that your donations are spent wisely.
This month’s featured child from our 9 feeding programs is John Robert. John is one of the many children who attend our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program in Aklan. When I asked his teacher about John, she told me that he has a “quiet yearning for purpose, like all the children in his town of Dumaguit. Most of the children there are very poor. John Robert’s journey to Jesus has been marked by resilience, faith and much hope which is all shaped with a spirit [of God] because of many challenges, but his soul touched by God’s grace. John Robert found strength through the love of Jesus who guided his every step. His life began to shift in a meaningful way when the feeding program reached out to him with open arms. As one of its beneficiaries, John Robert received more than nourishment-he encountered a community that reflected God’s love and support that strengthened his faith. Through every meal, prayer, and moment of care, he grew not only physically, but also spiritually and emotionally. Today, John Robert stands as a living testimony to God’s unfailing provision and the power of [Jesus’] compassion. His story is one of transformation, and reminder that when [Jesus’] love leads, even the smallest seed of faith can grow a life filled with purpose and promise.”
After being given that report from John’s teacher, it still resounds within my spirit how effective God’s word is when planted in children. The absolute power of God to transform any of us is amazing. Your true and heavenly investment is reaping souls for Christ. There is no better purpose for any of us than that. God promises both Earthly and heavenly blessings for anyone willing to see the Gospel shared and be part of souls coming to Jesus as Lord and Savior. Thank you so very much for all you have done! Jorlyn, I and every volunteer at GFOM loves and appreciates you!
Lastly, I’d like to ask, if you choose to mail us a check or money order for the ministry, please always use the P.O. Box address listed on the website, never to our home. Sending a check to our home is not a guarantee that we will receive it. Also, and again, Jorlyn and I continue to pray that at some point during 2025, we can open our 10th feeding program. Would you please also pray about that for, and with us? We both would appreciate any and all prayers for these beautiful kids, the teachers and also other volunteers who help.
