Global Family Outreach Monthly Newsletter For February, 2015

Greetings to you, our family and friend of Global Family Outreach Ministry,

It seems like just yesterday that I have written to you with our monthly report regarding our vital and important ministry in the Philippines. How time flies.

This month, we are featuring information on our Director of the Global Family Outreach, Poor Children’s Feeding Program. His name is German Lapido. I call him “Nong German” because as he is older than me, “Nong” means “older brother” and is used as a respectful term addressing a man in the Aklan and Iloilo Provincial Areas of the Philippines.

If you call him “Nong German”, I am quite sure that your addressing him as such, would indeed be a blessing him. I say that because he has earned my respect, and as well, the respect of many others within the Philippines because of his tireless love and hard work for Jesus. In fact, Nong German has been saved through Jesus Christ for over forty years now and has been involved in ministry for many years as well..

Nong German loves people, a gift from the Lord, he uses his love for both Jesus and families to share the Gospel and to feed and clothe the poorest of children all around him there in Aklan. He has a heart hard after God, and when he see’s a poor child or a needy family, Nong German will take his time to reach out to that child and or that poor family so that they may know the Lord in a special way.

Yes, Nong German believes as Christ Jesus does, all people are special and Nong German volunteers all his time as Director of the Global Family Outreach Ministry Poor Children’s Feeding Program in Aklan. He uses all his personal time, energy and even some of his personal and meager money to do the Lord’s work with the children we serve. He does it for the pure joy of serving the Lord.

Indeed, GFOM is blessed to have Nong German volunteer as the Director of our Poor Children’s Feeding Program there in Aklan, Philippines. The Bible however states in 1Timothy 5:18 “For the Scriptures say, ‘Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading’, and, ‘The laborer deserves his wages.’” I believe that although Nong German volunteers his time to help the children, he should be given some financial compensation for his many years of labor for the Lord and hard work, don’t you ?

This month, I am asking that you would please not only help us pay for our monthly expenses to feed the poor children we serve, but also to give a love gift specifically for Nong German. His many years of service and in his later years of life should be granted with a little financial help to him so that he will not become discouraged from the hard work that he endures. Will you please send your best love gift today to Global Family Outreach Ministry ? If you want to bless Nong German with financial compensation, when giving, just send a note along with your love gift with the words, “Nong German” so that those funds will be sent directly to him. If you have a special message for him as well, please send that message as well with your love gift and we will pass along both to him. Love gifts can be given here… http://beaheronow.net/donate.html

I do pray and hope you will take the God given opportunity to see the Lord’s work continued there in Aklan, Philippines. I know not only the Lord and I are very thankful to you for your help, so is Nong German.

God bless !
