Global Family Outreach Ministry Monthly Newsletter, May, 2016

Hello and greetings to all !

Despite some of the heavy rain and hot weather in the Philippines as of late, God has been good to us and we pray He also has been good to you and your loved ones as well.

Yes indeed, in the Philippines, it is well into summer time where both the heat and humidity are high but so is our spirit to serve the Lord. Amen.

Now you may be thinking that it is a bit early to think about Christmas and “Christmas gifts” for the poor in the Philippines, but believe me it’s not. I do realize that yes, it is only the month of June but as most of you are just getting acclimated to the warm weather in the USA, Canada and all across Europe, Jorlyn and I have been out gathering new and used clothes to put in our next(balikbayan) box to ship to the children we serve so that they receive their gifts by December 25. This may sound strange but shipping a box half-way around the world and then getting that same box to a remote area takes 3 to 4 months time.

We have been sending a balikbayan box for a number of years to bless the children we feed in the GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding program and their families. Each time we send a box, we have been thanked for the clothes by many of those of the poor who have received. Being poor is no picnic, so to speak, and those who receive some new or used clothes from you that help donate the funds to send the box are more open to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior which is our main goal, seeing souls saved through Christ Jesus.

The cost of shipping one big box is only $125. and we are hopeful that there are a few of you that would please make a one-time $125. donation to get the box filled with all sorts of “salvation seeds.” If that is you, would you please click on the link for “Send A Box” at http://beaheronow.net/donate.html

As always, we love and appreciate all of you that are seeing children and their families saved through Jesus. Thank you again and God bless you all for your love for the Lord and the lost 🙂
