Greetings to all our family and friends of Global Family Outreach Ministry,
Jorlyn and I as well as all the pastors and teachers located at the GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs are praying for you, and that the good Lord is blessing you in wonderful ways!
A lot going on internationally including in the Philippines during the month of April. Seems to be a bit more political turmoil there than usual continues and I ask that you please always remember to pray for the safety of the 360 kids that we serve there as well as their family members and all the pastors and teachers involved with GFOM.
With much feedback from some supporters regarding the love for the section of the GFOM monthly newsletter featuring the child of the month, let me get right to it, and please allow me introduce to you, Wilyn Joy. “She is an 11 year-old and like many students at the Global Family Outreach Ministry feeding program. Initially, Wilyn Joy was like many students who struggle with shyness—she remained quiet in class and hesitated to participate during discussions or question-and-answer sessions after Bible stories. However, as the Saturday Bible classes continued, I noticed a remarkable transformation in her, particularly after I asked her privately if she truly accepted Jesus Christ into her heart. She shared a heartfelt testimony about accepting Christ during a lesson on salvation, and since then, her growth has been evident. Once reluctant to engage, she now actively participates in discussions, especially during post-story reflections.
Her progress extends beyond class participation. Wilyn Joy has demonstrated significant improvement in memorizing Bible verses, learned about key Biblical figures, and even applied these teachings to her personal life. Notably, her relationships at home have strengthened, and she has become more responsible, particularly in completing her household chores. Her dedication is further reflected in her punctuality: she lives just a few meters from the class venue and now often arrives earlier than her siblings. Her mother, inspired by Wilyn Joy’s positive changes, now encourages the other children to attend the classes as well. These developments highlight the profound impact of faith and guidance on Wilyn Joy’s life—a testament to God’s work in her journey.”
What a testimony and praise the Lord for another wonderful blessing to hear and read such an impact that you have on these poor children. Thank you for all your love and financial support! You have directly helped change lives and a direct impact on whole families and communities for Christ! I pray that this testimony of Wylin Joy not only blesses you, but encourages your own walk in Christ and to continue, or begin supporting Global Family Outreach Ministry.
It is our hope and prayer that each and every month throughout 2025, we can receive enough funding for all 9 programs. Unfortunately, during the month of April, we could only feed 6 of the 9 because we were short on donations. The month of May we are back on track to feed and teach the poor kids at all nine GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding programs again, praise the Lord and thank you to all who gave to help make that happen.
Lastly, it is our prayer that at some point during 2025, we can open our 10th feeding program. Would you please also pray about that with us? I would appreciate that very much ?
