Greetings Family and Friend of G.F.O.M.,

We trust that this newsletter finds you in good health, good in spirit and blessed by the Lord.

We have a great deal of information to give you here but will compact the information for you as best as we can so that you will not be over burdened with the details. If you do wish more information regarding the ministry, you are more than welcome to e-mail us anytime.

It would be difficult to believe someone has not heard of the news of Super-Typhoon Yolanda hitting the Philippines last month. Equally doubtful as well, it would be that someone did not also hear of the tragedy of thousands dead and Billions of Dollars worth of damage done there also. Indeed, Typhoon Yolanda hit the area of our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program in Aklan, Philippines pretty hard. When the typhoon hit, it hit with a fury. There were 7 lives lost in Aklan and many homes destroyed. Many, many folks there were left homeless. In case you missed it, I made a call for financial help for the victims and praise the Lord, because of the blessed hearts of a few wonderful folks, we were given a total of $250(usd) to send on to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. Now that amount sent to the ministry n all reality wasn’t very much but at least for 60 families there, they were given the message of hope through Jesus Christ and then after, received several days worth of food including rice, coffee and noodles. We praise the Lord for the beautiful hearts that gave and those that also received form those beautiful hearts that gave.

Sadly, the damage in the Philippines is going to be long lasting… Houses still need to be rebuilt as do lives of men, women and children, but this presents to all of us a great opportunity for the Kingdom of Christ ! As you can imagine, there is a substantial increase in the need for both finances and workers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Aklan, Philippines. Sadly, this ministry has always operated on less than an “shoe-string” budget. None of the workers, not even I as Director of Global Family Outreach Ministry receive a salary. Everyone who works for GFOM is a volunteer. That fact however does not in anyway mean that there are not needs. Our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program now feeds 100 children per week. We are not giving the children much food because we just don’t have the funding to purchase food for them. Thankfully, we have those locally in the Philippines willing to teach Bible lessons to the children before they eat but plainly said; food to give them is scarce due to lack of financial giving.

Here then is the “opportunity”… There is now more than ever to make a real difference and impact for the name of Jesus Christ upon the lives of those we touch here at Global Family Outreach Ministry. While those whom we love on in the Philippines get shared with the Gospel of Jesus Christ also in a practical way(thru your giving and the food you purchase for them), hearts are changing. We see that the Lord allowing devastation in the Philippines has also opened hearts to receive His loving plan of salvation. Now(“opportunity”) is not a time to draw back, nor to have the belief that our work together is some how “completed.” Indeed not, in fact, the work in the Philippines for you and I is just beginning.

So please, don’t quit, don’t give up of have a belief that GFOM or that the recovery for lives and salvation thru Christ is some how “accomplished.” It is not completed and certainly not accomplished. We ask…. No ! Scratch that please … We Beg you for your continued help, love, support and prayers so that many more souls will be fed here on earth and later, souls filled in heaven. God’s loving blessings once again upon all of you who already have given. For those who also give now by faith now or again, We earnestly pray that the Lord will also bless you abundantly as well !

Thank you ahead of time.
