Blessings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ!
Jorlyn and I hope and pray that the Lord has been blessing you this past month and that He continues to do so throughout the new month of November as well.
If you are a new contributor to Global Family Outreach Ministry, or just interested in what we are doing and providing, every month we send out a newsletter to help keep you updated. I’m a firm believer in keeping communication and accountability with everyone who supports this important ministry.
First update; thus far, Jorlyn is still scheduled to leave for the Philippines later in November. The U.S Government shutdown has had some negative impacts on flights, but Jorlyn and I are praying everything will be resolved by the time she leaves for the Philippines, to check on our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs and where to place future Feeding Programs during 2026. As I shared in last month’s newsletter, but believe an important reminder, Jorlyn and I are volunteers too. We receive absolutely zero pay for our work in the ministry.
Second update; This is how we will be determining where the next three feeding programs will be established…Jorlyn will be returning to the Philippines in November (this month) to visit some of our existing feeding programs and travelling elsewhere to pinpoint exact areas to open those feeding programs. When she returns to the U.S., we will pray and hope by the middle of January, 2026 to begin the operation to open these new programs. So, here’s what we need, we absolutely need your prayers and support. If you are already donating monthly, I please ask that you help us locate just one new person who would prayerfully donate monthly. If you only donate to bless these poor children on occasion, you would please make regular and monthly donations. Finally, if you have never donated, please donate monthly as well. By God’s loving grace and your help, we can see not only many more children be fed food, but changed lives through Jesus Christ so that the children’s families will see God’s work and become saved through Christ Jesus as well.
Next, and for many supporters, here is your favorite part of nearly every newsletter, one of the updates and testimonies from one of the 330 poor kids active in our 9 GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding programs ? Please meet, Kylie Piloton, (pictured at the top of the newsletter)
“She is a ten-year-old, daughter of Russel and Lodivino. She [was] known for her boundless energy and a distinct lack of attention. During Saturday Bible classes, she [sits] down with the [other] children, but never [had] attention to the stor[ies]. In fact, she [was] a source of trouble being clamorous in the class. It is a miracle if [ever] you found her [to be] quiet and clam during the class.
But that was before. Something shifted. As she continued to attend the class [regarding] Bible stories, slowly, subtly the stories began to seep into Kylie’s heart. The story of Moses parting the Red Sea, of Davis and Goliath, of Ruth’s faithfulness, and of Jesus’ love and sacrifice, it slowly enter[ed] into her heart and quiet transformation began.
The change [for her] was evident in small ways at first. She started helping her mother with chores, her movements less hurried [and] more thoughtful. She began to listen more attentively in Bible stories, her mind more attentive. It wasn’t a sudden, dramatic change, but a gradual unfolding.
Her parents noticed the difference. The once restless child was now clam, thoughtful, and surprisingly helpful. She still had her playful moments, but now there was a quiet strength. Kylie Piloton, the once inattentive child, had found her faith, and in doing so, had found herself.”
I hope and pray that you found Kylie’s story very inspiring and read the fruit of your faithful giving every month. There are 329 more children just like her and many of them continue to grow in their relationship, or just now finding Biblical Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Your donations not only help with physical food, but spiritual as well. Please continue giving, or if you have never, or perhaps not yet donated, would you please prayerfully give each month to help?
Lastly, I would just like to take a minute to remind you as well that Global Family Outreach Ministry is much more than Poor Children’s Feeding Programs. I am a licensed Christian therapist and provide counseling for individuals and families. We also have a church planting ministry, evangelism and also human and sex trafficking rescue mission. We provide all this under GFOM. If ever you or your church has a need in these areas, or would like to invite Jorlyn and I to speak at your church regarding GFOM and what we provide, please feel free to contact me so that we can prayerfully be a blessing to you or your church as well.
If you choose to mail us a check or money order for the ministry, please always use the P.O. Box address listed on the website, never to our home. Sending a check to our home is not a guarantee that we will receive it.
