Do you Know who Jesus is?

It has come to my attention after speaking to many people around the world and even some pastors, they don’t know who Jesus is. Here is what I have from my GFOM web site….

“Global Family Outreach Ministry does exactly that, the people involved reach out! Helping the hurting, the hungry and the lost is what Jesus calls all believers to do. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead (James 2:26). The gospel of Jesus Christ is what every person needs. GFOM not only shares the gospel with children and their families, they feed them and restore them. I know anything given towards this ministry will be used toward helping people spiritually and practically.”

GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION FOR ALL PEOPLE

“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God” (Revelation 19:1).

In the daily grind of life we look for answers regarding our health, financial situation, job, family and future. We devote time, energy and resources in pursuing happiness and fulfillment in life (Matthew 6:21). Whether you have all you could ever ask for or very little, this message is for you. The message of the cross is for all people from every nation. No matter where you are at in life, I hope you will think about the two most important questions you will ever answer.

1. Do you know for certain that if you were to die today you would go to heaven?

2. Suppose that you were to die today and stand before God and He were to ask you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What would you say?

Every person will stand before God to be judged (Day of Judgment), “So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12).

Think about these questions seriously because they are a matter of eternal life (in heaven) or death (in hell). If you are not sure whether or not you would go to heaven, I have good news for you! The Bible tells us that it is possible to know for sure that we have eternal life: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (I John 5:13).

How can we know for sure that we will have eternal life in heaven?

Let us closely examine what the Bible says about God’s relationship with man and the doctrine (teaching) of salvation. We begin our study by looking at some of God’s attributes that He has revealed to us in His Word.

God’s Attributes

God is holy. No one compares to God (1 Samuel 2:2; Exodus 15:11).
God is one. He is the only true God. He has revealed himself as a trinity of three persons – the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, each of whom is equally God (Jeremiah 10:10; Isaiah 45:5).
God is eternal. He always has existed and he always will (Psalm 90:2; Revelation 1:8).
God is just. He is our Creator, Sustainer of life and Judge. His justice is perfect (Isaiah 30:18; Psalm 97:2).
God is omniscient. He is all knowing. He knows everything in the past, present and future (Psalm 119:168; Psalm 94:11).
God is omnipresent. He is present in all places at the same time. God is fully aware of everything that happens everywhere. He knows what we do and say and our every thought (Jeremiah 23:24).
God is omnipotent. He is all powerful. He can do all things (Psalm 135:6).
God is sovereign. He is the sole and supreme ruler of the universe (Job 37:23; Daniel 4:35).

Why did this all knowing, all powerful, sovereign God create us? Why do we exist? What is God’s purpose for us?

Mankind Was Created In God’s Image

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). Being created in God’s image (likeness) does not mean we are “little” gods or that we possess His supernatural attributes. God created mankind in His own image to be a reflection of His holy character (personality). We have the ability to reflect His character in our love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and faithfulness. “We love because he first loved us” (I John 5:6). Mankind was a unique creation of God that was set apart from the rest of the created beings. God gave man the authority (rule) over all other living creatures that He created (Genesis 1:28; Psalm 8:5-8). God has the ultimate rule over all things but He has delegated this authority to man.

God’s Purpose For Man

God’s purpose for mankind is that we honor, serve, and fellowship with Him. “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being” (Revelation 4:11). Adam and Eve were the first man and woman that God created. At the time of creation, man was perfect in nature, reflecting God’s character. A perfect harmony existed between God and man because Adam and Eve honored God by obeying His commands (Genesis 2:16-17). In our world today, the image (likeness) of God in man is not clear. The reflection of God’s character is dim.

What happened to destroy this perfect relationship? What went wrong? Why do we need salvation?

Man’s Problem: Sin

God commanded Adam and Eve not to “eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2:17). When they disobeyed God and ate from the tree (Genesis 3:1-7), sin entered the world (Romans 5:12). Adam and Eve’s sin passed to the entire human race, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin is rebellion against God. It is breaking God’s law, “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). Sin is individual acts of doing what God has told us not to do or not doing what God has commanded us to do. Sin is not limited to our actions but it includes what we think or say (Matthew 5:21-48). Sin can also refer to a general human condition. The perfect nature of mankind from creation no longer exists. We inherited a sinful nature from Adam and we are born with it.

Is sin serious? Does sin have consequences? Does sin hinder our salvation?

Sin’s Penalty: Death

God’s holiness demands a penalty for man’s sin, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23a). The consequence (result) of sin is death. The Bible teaches that death resulting from sin separates a person from God. Spiritual death separates a person from the life of God, “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins” (Ephesians 2:1). Spiritual death begins at birth, man is born with a sinful nature, and continues to sin throughout life until physical death. Physical death occurs when a person’s soul separates from his or her body (Hebrews 9:27). Eternal death separates a person, both soul and body, from God forever in Hell (Revelation 20:15). Hell is a “place of torment” (Luke 16:28b), it is a “fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:42).

How can we have eternal life and avoid damnation in Hell? Can we receive God’s salvation by being a good person?

Religion: Good Works

Are you a good person? Do you believe in God? Do you go to church?

Many people try to satisfy God’s judgment and attempt to gain or earn eternal life many different ways. They think they are going to heaven based on a system of belief (religion) or a moral code. We will examine some common misconceptions.

Man says, “I believe in God.”

The Bible says, “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that – and shudder” (James 2:19). Believing that God exists is a good start but that alone will not get a person into heaven. “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him” (Romans 1:21).

Man says, “I am a good person and I do good deeds (help others, sacrifice time and effort, donate money to church/charity).”

The Bible says, “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6a). Giving of time and money and helping others are “good” things to do but they will not save us from eternal death in Hell. Remember that we were all born with a sinful nature so it is not what we do but who we are (Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9).

Man says, “I go to church, worship God and take place in religious ceremonies (traditions).”

The Bible says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12). Going to church and taking part in religious ceremonies or ordinances (i.e. communion) again are “good” things but they do not take care of man’s sin problem. Churchgoing folk may even fool a lot of people, including themselves, into thinking they are “good”. On the outside (actions, speech) people may even appear to be Christians but God knows the heart of all men. “He (Jesus) said to them (Pharisees) “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight” (Luke 16:15).

Man says, “I am not as bad as so and so nor do I commit major sins (murder, adultery, robbery).”

The Bible says, “Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin” (Proverbs 20:9). God is perfect and therefore all sin is serious in His sight. The Bible teaches that sin is not limited to just actions but also includes thoughts and words. “He (Jesus) went on “What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean’. For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean’” (Mark 7:20-23).

Man is powerless to save himself from sin’s penalty of death. Our best efforts will not pay the debt of sin demanded from us by a holy and just God.

“What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death” (Romans 7:24)? What is God’s plan of salvation? Watch Video

Christ’s Payment

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). God hates sin but He loves sinners. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross in our place. Jesus, who is God, became a man and lived the life (without sin) that we cannot live. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21) (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus died the death that we could not die. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). We have learned that our best efforts, all of our righteous acts, cannot restore our relationship with God. When Jesus died on the cross, He provided a way for us to have a right relationship with God here on earth and in heaven. “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

How can Jesus Christ become your Savior? How do we receive salvation?

Trust In Christ

If you want to enter into a right relationship with God and have eternal life in heaven you must receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Jesus said in John 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In order to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you must repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus Christ alone as the only hope of eternal life.

Repent

The Bible teaches us that all people “must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus” (Acts 20:21b). When we repent of our sins, God forgives us and wipes our slate clean. “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out” (Acts 3:19a). Repentance is more than just asking God for forgiveness, it is also changing our attitude toward sin. We must now live in a way that is pleasing to God.

Believe

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10). When you put your trust in Jesus Christ, it means that you believe that He is the Son of God, who died for you on the cross and rose from the dead. It is a transfer of trust from your own good works or religion to Christ as the only way of salvation. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

What are the results of our salvation?

God’s Promise: Eternal Life

Jesus said in John 5:24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” What an awesome promise for those that put their faith in Christ alone! Jesus tells us that the believer: 1) will have eternal life, 2) will not come into God’s judgment (not be condemned), and 3) has passed out of death into life – no longer being separated from God but living with Him forever in heaven. Do you have a desire to have a relationship with God? Will you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today? No matter the time or the place you can pray to God now.

How do you receive God’s salvation?

Admit that you are a sinner, confess that you have sinned against God and ask Him for forgiveness.

Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God Who died for you on the cross, rose from the dead, and is Lord.

Call upon Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior enabling you to turn from sin and to live for Him.
If you made the decision today to trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we rejoice in your salvation and encourage you to walk with God daily! Pray to God, read the Bible, and join a Bible believing church to spiritually grow in your Christian faith. Share with others the Gospel of Jesus Christ so they too may know of God’s love and gift of eternal life.
“Then he said to them all: “If anyone could come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23).

July GFOM Newsletter

Greetings Friends and Family Members of Global Family Outreach Ministry,

I hope and pray that you are blessed in the Lord, It is summer time here in the USA and many of us are busy working or spending time with children(schools out ) or vacation time is here. Personally, I’ve been very busy also working on itinerating for the financial needs of the ministry especially for the ongoing mission in thee Philippines. The economic slowdown has hit some pretty hard around the world and we here at GFOM have seen a decrease in giving. We do not plan on slowing down but are in the belief we live in God’s economy not the world’s. This is all by faith of course. The Bible says it is impossible to please God without faith and as long as we have faith the size of a Mustard seed, we will will see mountains move. Personally, there are days, thats probably the size of all my faith as I hear so many discouraging reports from so many of you going through trials in your own lives. How I pray for you that the Lord would indeed help you in what ever your need is. We don’t give up or are hopeless, we have a God is more than able to supply all our needs-Amen? Sorry that I’m becoming increasingly preachy. There may be a reason for all that preachiness, I’ve been asked by some Filipinos to open a church in the Metro Manila area. That is quite a serious request and quite a responsibility as you may quite imagine. There are some major obstacles that already Satan has thrown up to block that so we know that God is at work. One of the biggest reasons given to me for  to open a new church was the lack of true Bible teaching churches in the Philippines. For sure there are some  true churches of Christ there but there are also so many false gospels being preached in the Philippines and when people do realize the error of the false gospel being taught, they find themselves without a church to attend close by. I’m so excited to see what the Lord will do. Please keep me and GFOM in your prayers.

We have upcoming fund raising and informational events and are in need of help in many ways; on July 11th-Yard Sale in Medina NY, July 18th in North Syracuse, NY for an Christian evangelistic event, August 2-5th, We will be at Kingdom Bound-Darien, NY,  August 8th  Evangelism Full  Proof Event-Rochester, NY. So, Please keep us in prayer as we Participate/Evangelize/Help/Ask for support at these and other upcoming events.

If you would please prayerfully consider helping the Kingdom of God in reaching people for Christ, all around the world; Please go to www.gfom.org or www.beaheronow.com and click on the donate button or you mail mail your donation to;

“GOD IS GREAT! GOD IS FAITHFUL!

We praise and thank the Lord for His faithfulness. We are continuing the school feeding program in Guimaras Island every Friday of each week.

The Feeding Program ministry is serving 147 school children both spiritually and physically.

We praise and thank God for His financial provisions to GFOM in U.S.A. who provides the funds to GFOM Guimaras Philippines outreach to purchased the foods to feed the needy children in this place.

Another God’s provisions in answer to our needs is the 4 volunteer Bible teachers from Central Philippine Bible School here in Guimaras through Pastor Espanola who administer
the Bible School. And Pastor Alex, youth Pastor from Spring of Living Water Christian Church.Praise the Lord for the teachers!

For Grade I, number of children, 22, Pastor Nena is teaching.Grade II, 29 children, Sister Tirzah is teaching. For Grade II,19 children, and Grade IV, 29 children, Brother Mark and Brother Eronel are teaching, Grade V, 21 and Grade VI, 26 children, Pastor Alex and Sister Rachel are teaching.

Bible Classes are held during recess time 9:30 to 10:30 this includes 10 minutes eating of snacks after the bible lessons. The School Head is giving us one hour for our Bible Class. Thank to God for this opportunity to minister to these children.

We are using a uniform Bible Lessons in all levels of the children purposely to teach same lessons for the whole school.
The  animal puppets donated to GFOM, that Pastor Paul brought to us when he visited us
helps us a lot to present the Word of God effectively and in an interesting way.

Through the Feeding Ministry in the school gave us the opportunity to reach out to the family of one of the teachers of the school, Mrs. Gallenero, to speak to her 81 year old grandmother, rs. Josefina Gadot, who is nearing death. She is afraid to die. I witnessed to her, she accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. After talking with her we had Bible study with her family. She confessed that she is not afraid to die, because she said Jesus will take her to heaven. To God be the glory!

We are grateful to the Lord that through hardships and trials , the work of the Lord continues and we remain always encouraged in the Lord. ” But those who wait in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

We pray therefore for your continued support to the ministry. Souls are being rescued, lives are being restored because of the help you are extending.

To God be the glory!

In His Service,

Pastor Nena Bantolinao “

Give Away To Good Home Or family…..

Missionary Is shy but bold in his preaching and loving towards others. Willing to lay his life down for his Saviour Jesus. Prays for others and will love back even those who maltreat him. Needs prayer and financial support. He is returning to the Philippines as a full-time missionary-will give himself to good Christian family or church. Praise The Lord, 2 more boxes sent out….

I give all honor, praise to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for two more boxes being picked up today and being shipped to the Philippines for an evangelistic outreach to see more Filipinos give their hearts to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. There are clothes, soaps, lotions, towels, bed sheets and more in these boxes. I am so blessed that someone in their heart packed these boxes and donated the money as well to ship them. All glory to Jesus!

I’d like everyone to know so far as a prayer request also…GFOM is located near a local cult here in the Batavia, NY where they are with an influence of also a Wicca Witch group together sending items to the Philippines. They are competing for souls with GFOM. The cult and witches are trying to undermine the Gospel of Jesus Christ by giving “humanitarian” items. They are doing this so as to persuade people to a cult belief and practice. This cult  also has poured thousands of dollars into the legal system trying to destroy Global Family Outreach Ministry.

I believe I must be doing something correct for the Lord to suffer such persecution. My concern however is the souls of those who may be being persuaded to a false gospel because of the influx of items from this cult and witch’s group. Please stand with me in prayer and financially to see the True Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed in the Philippines and around the world.

The Last Push….

The Last Big Push…..

When praying these days to the Lord my God, I cannot believe but to hear my Father’s heart for the lost, dyeing and hurting. God has allowed many more people in my life as of late that also carry a burden for their lost (without  Jesus as Lord and Saviour). How dearly I believe and is close to my own heart that my God loves us, after all, he sent his own Son Jesus to die on the cross for us. Not to simply die but through His wonderfulness, for the remission of our sins.

Is there a reason that as I believe, have heard God’s heart for the lost around the world? I believe so. Simply put; souls. Souls for heaven, souls of those who have wandered off some where but yet sense a calling to come to the Father through Jesus Christ. Souls of the unclean and unsaved. There is a push if you will in my heart for souls. Friends of mine who are active in Christian ministry of evangelism feel the same tugging from the Father. The yearning for souls. Ours and people(men and woman of the Living God) are not the harvesters but are the instruments only for souls. We are the messengers. Like the Shofar of/ in Israel’s day of old, the loud blast called attention and direction for a purpose. To bring a scattered people into one accord. God I believe is blowing His shofar if you will. He is calling in the souls of the lost. He is calling his people to a purpose for souls.

There is the Gospel message that needs and must be proclaimed around the world. I have no idea how close we are to proclaiming the Word of God to “all nations and tongues” before Christ’s return. I do know though the urgency in my heart for the lost. Scores of people around the world are dyeing without Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Whole people groups appear to be hardening their hearts. I think of particular nations that appear to have little to no motivation to seek a restoring God no less to repent of their evil ways. My heart cries out to my Lord, “Please Lord, send someone to those stiff necked people, even to save a few !” At present I feel more like Lot rather than Abram. I feel I am detained against my own will to serve Christ because of the bonds of of others on my life.

I care for little of earthly pleasures these days. There was a time in my life that I wished and prayed for so many things. I have lost many of those once gained-treasured “things” in my life. At first when losing them, I cried literallyover them while being sometimes literally being stripped away from my own very hands. I’ve seen them go individually as well as corporately….relationships, houses, vehicles, food, childhood memories, etc…. I care very little anymore. Once priceless in my heart, those “things” have become “rust and corrosion.” I crave these days, souls. Souls for the kingdom of God. Please don’t misunderstand me. I need some items to survive but there is a sense in me that Christ is returning soon. Many items that I treasured here on earth will mean nothing where I am going. Once earthly things taken, God has allowed now the stripping of my soul. I am but an instrument of His to be his bond servant. To be used for His glory, His glory, His glory.

My goal is to reach the people I have been prepared for these past 10 years. I have my eyes fixed on the cross. Ready to serve more. I await with anticipation to speak to His people what He would have me speak by the power of the Holy Spirit. The time is near, the time is here. There can be no more looking back. Souls are being prepared, where I am called, the souls are ready to be gathered.

Look for Christs’ return….

June, 2009 GFOM Newsletter

Greetings Global Family Outreach Ministry Family Member,

We pray that you have been blessed with so much love from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For the month of May, 2009 we want to share with you that although we are currently showing a dramatic financial slow down here at the ministry we plan on going “full steam ahead” with our vision to see children and families saved  through Christ, not only in the Philippines now, but to see our plans for children/families also giving their hearts to Jesus Christ in Nigeria, Africa and all around the world. On the surface it would be easy to be discouraged looking at the economic down turn around the globe but we as Christians should keep our eyes on Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

To help with our plans to expand rather than detract our ministry outreaches, we are in much prayer here at GFOM. We are itinerating at churches and Christian events. June 28th, Pastor Paul will be sharing at Canisteo AoG Church, in Canisteo, NY  He also has individual appointments with other pastors here in Western and Central New York State. We are having a yard sale in Medina, NY on June 27th (We are looking for donateable items) and we are also contacting more and more churches to ask for help. If you are interested in helping or giving towards GFOM, please feel free to contact us at Donate@gfom.org

We have periodic updates regarding the ministry. You can find Pastor Paul on Facebook where he adds sometimes updates not only personal thoughts but ministry updates as well. There is also the “Blog By Pastor Paul” on GFOM and BEAHERONOW web sites. There are articles written and stories about the ministry. The newsletters in the future will be posted on the Blog so that money can be saved. If you wish to receive a newsletter via “snail mail”, it will be sent to you at a special request. Postage and printing are very expensive.

Have you checked out the web sites lately??? There is a blessing…A brand new video from a Famous Filipino Movie Actress; Angelu De Leon. In the video, she has sitting in her lap a little girl from our Pasig City, Manila Feeding Center. Angelu gives a wonderful endorsement of GFOM. Thank you Angelu ! Go to www.gfom.org or www.beaheronow.net

Other changes are being made in the Philippines, we are constantly making changes for the better to make GFOM more efficient and a better organization. We want to be sure we are good stewards of what the Lord gives us. The Lord blesses our efforts we believe just like the 20 persons who just gave their hearts to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior while Pastor Paul was preaching and sharing the Gospel in Guimaras, Philippines. How good is God!!! We so much love God for His faithfulness.

So our message this month is this; We are not turning back. It is the last days before Jesus’ return and many are yet to give their hearts to Christ all around the world. We will stay diligent for the work of the Lord until His second coming.

Many Blessings.

The GFOM Staff

A Father’s Heart….

No its not Fathers Day yet but it is kinda my Father’s Heart Day. Today I remember it was 17 years-ago today that I gave my heart to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of my life. A long time for sure compared to some. To others though who have been saved through Christ;  its been 30, 40 or more years so to them, maybe its not so long. How ever long we have been saved, we should all have our Father’s heart. What do I mean by Father’s heart? Well, we should first of all have love. Love for a “Christian” should be the most important part of our walk, talk, and fruit of who we are and what we do. Agree? The Bible says that love covers a multitude of sins. Many walk around the Earth judging and pointing fingers at others but rarely if ever at themselves. This unfortunately also at times applies to  us “Christians.” Jesus said in John 13:35 “…They shall know you are my disciples by the love you show one-another.” Isn’t is love that was the motivation for Jesus to shed his innocent blood on the cross for our sins? Our demonstartion of love should be evident to everyone. Lack of love and being non-Christ like can point to one of two things I believe. One is that we were never truly converted to “Christianity” or the other; that we are steeped in sin. Love was the motivation in the book of acts where “everyone gave to those who were without.” The type of love I  personally want to have is sacrificial, daring in dedication, outstanding, forgiving, repenting, giving, generous, pointing to the cross at Calvary, type of love. The type of attitude I don’t want to have is; fake, demeaning, non-caring, unforgiving, hateful, spiteful, wolfish, abusive, self-centered, hidden-agenda, lieing, cheating, stealing or anything at all non Christ like. In other words, not of the flesh or any appearance of it. I do want to clarify here that there are in fact times with love, we must be confrontive like Jesus was in the temple driving out the marketers or In Mathew Chapter 18 where Jesus talks about confronting someone with sin or unrepentive sin in their life. To see some saved or repent of their sins or rebellious attitude, we should be caring but also I believe, straight forward. Personally, I don’t believe sin or open rebellion is anything to fool around with. The root of the matter should be dealt with quickly. Jesus gave us clear instruction when dealing with someone with a rebellious/unrrepentive heart. Love though I believe, should always be the motivator.

I’m not sure how many of you have teenagers or have ever had teenagers but for me, I always wanted a t-shirt that said something like “I survived my child’s teenage years.” Teenagers can be tough for sure. All children can be a hand full at any age I suppose but teenagers I think are the toughest. When teenagers continue in their rebellious attitudes into their adult years, That’s when we see more broken lives, more broken families. You see, Those Teenagers becoming adults, get married and have children(hopefully they get married before they have children) and if their attitude is that of rebeliousnesstowards God, they will probably influence their own children for the negative as well.  Here I want to share from thee Bible an example of how a parent of that young rebellious aduly might feel by asking; Can you imagine the heart of the “Prodigal Son’s” father? This poor man was probably so heart broken when his own son became a prodigal. Here is dad, working hard, giving all he can to make his two son’s happy and give them a blessed life. The news of his one son running off in rebellion must of brought poor old dad to his knees in tears. I can just imagine the heart ache and pain. I can also read of the love in this fine parable where it reads of the prodigal son; “finally, he came to his senses.” The father in this story was told by Jesus; “The father seen his son from a distance far off and opened his arms to receive his son.” Wow, that thought literally brings tears to my eyes. The love of the father.

Perhaps in our lives we currently have those that have “run off” somewhere and have not yet returned. In our two GFOM feeding programs there at times, children who come into our Poor Children’s Feeding Programs and for a brieftime, are fed the Word of God and a hot nutritious meal. They  sometimes disappear. The children move with their families to another part of the Philippines, or even the children decide on their own that being in a loving place hearing about Jesus is not right for them. They are still yet attracted to the wild streets or the wild life. These children , Just like my very own children,  are very special. Even though they are rebellious now, It is my heart to show them a love of a father. Yes, the love of the Father.

Please help….Nigeria, Liberia….

To all my Friends and Family, I just recieved a important updated e-mail from my dear friend Brother Emma Okorie. He is in Liberia and is working to bring the Hope of Jesus to that nation. It is already in my heart to work with Brother Emma in Nigeria. The war torn nation of Liberia is ripe now for the harvest for souls in and through Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I am asking that you would please prayerfully consider praying for the next Poor Children’s Feeding Center with Global Family Outreach Minsitry. I believe The Lord can provide for 2 Poor Children’s Feeding Centers both in Nigeria as well as Liberia. Lets help those who need our help. As always, thank you and blessings. www.gfom AND www.beaheronow.com
