A little Filipino joke and play on the English language, that is “ber” as in a reference to being cold and from Septem”ber” to Deceme”ber”, unless you are living high up on a mountain, it really never get’s cold in the Philippines, just a little cooler. Something else that occurs during the “ber” season, Christmas Season begins and October see’s children especially getting excited. Most Filipinos that we serve are fairly poor so Christmas is a season where a simple gift for the children usually brings a few school supplies like pencils and note pads. Sometimes, a blouse for a girl or a t-shirt for a boy. Of course for us Christians, the true season for Christmas is Jesus and His birth.

At our Global Family Outreach Ministry Poor Children’s Feeding Program, we always get children prepared for Christmas with a special attention to their relationship with Jesus. We use the opportunity that the world provides as a holiday for the children to realize that Christmas is not about worldly gifts, but rather about Jesus, God’s only Son as a gift to all humanity and the importance of salvation through Him. This means teaching Bible lessons and learning Christmas songs that glorify Jesus as well.

We are praying how we can have a larger impact on the children and their family’s that we are serving and have also a larger impact on the community where we are serving them. Celebrating Christmas gives us as special opportunity to see others come to Christ in a practical way. During this Christmas Season, will you please help us also in a practical way so that we may also impact children and their families in a much larger way also. You can do so by giving your best love gift here…. http://beaheronow.net/donate.html

May the Lord greatly bless you and Joy To The World !

Rev.
