Step 1:
EDIT FLASH ANIMATION: | Click for more details
Open the "flash.txt" file with Notepad or any text editor and change "Your Website Title" to match your name or company name. Be sure not to delete the "logo=". Edit the text following "&textline=". You can also leave this line blank but do not delete the "&textline=" code. This will change the Flash logo on all pages. If you wish to use a graphic logo, there are instructions later in this document.

Step 2:
EDIT FOOTER: | Click for more details
Open the "footer.js" file in Notepad or any text editor, and change the "Your Company" line with your company name. This will change the lower page info on all pages. Edit all ".js" files with a text editor.

Step 3:
EDIT CONTACT INFO: | Click for more details
Open the "phone.js" file in Notepad or any text editor and change the e-mail address in 8 total areas with your e-mails. Or you can turn off any e-mails you are not using in the phone.js. This will change contact info on the contact page. Be sure to test these e-mail links.

Step 4:
REPLACE THE PRODUCT PICTURES | Click for more details | Thumbnail Help
The best way to setup the pictures in the "products" folder is not to actually edit the HTML pages and change the pictures on each individual page. The fastest way is to simply replace the pictures in the "products" folder with your own by overwriting the files that are in there now and using the same generic names.

Replace the six "product-?.jpg" images in the "products" folder with your thumbnail images. These images are now 200 x 133 pixels. You can go a little larger or smaller if you like. This will update the images on the "products.htm".

Replace the six "Fproduct-?.jpg" images in the "products" folder. These are the full sized images you will see when you click on a thumbnail on the products page. These images are now 600 x 400 pixels in size.

Step 5:
EDIT THE PAYPAL CART: | Click for more details
To setup the Paypal cart you will edit the "products.htm" and also the "sidebar.js".
STEP 1: Set up a paypal merchant account.

STEP 2: Edit the Paypal forms: EXAMPLE: Edit the first Paypal form in the "products.htm". Find this note "START PAYPAL FORM 1" in the "products.htm". Edit four items:

A. Replace "paypal@your-web-domain.com" with your Paypal e-mail.
B. Edit the item_name "Product 1".
C. Edit the amount "39.99".
D. Edit the payment return page. Replace "your-web-domain.com" with your domain. View return page

For more help with this editing see this support page.

STEP 3: While still editing the "products.htm", edit or delete the "START OPTIONS AREA" with any options you require. If you require no options delete the code between the "START OPTIONS AREA" notes. If you need an option that will change the item price see this support page.

STEP 4: Now you will want to edit or remove all the forms as shown in STEP 2 & 3.

STEP 5: In the "products.htm" find the "START VIEW CART CODE" note and edit "paypal@your-web-domain.com" with your Paypal e-mail.

STEP 6: In the "sidebar.js" edit the "paypal@your-web-domain.com" (top line) with your Paypal e-mail. This will update the sidebar view cart button.

OPTIONS: You can add more options or shipping to the Paypal forms.
Step 6:
EDIT THE sidebar.js: | More Details
Open the "sidebar.js" file in Notepad or any text editor. There are some variables at the top you can change. You can start by editing the following line about 15 lines down in the sidebar.js:

document.write('This area is for notes or links. Edit the sidebar.js to update this text. ');

Edit only the text in the center and do not disturb the code at the start and end of each line. The sidebar is a global file and all pages will update when you edit this file. You can also replace the "sidebar-1.jpg" and "sidebar-1.jpg" in the "picts" folder with your own images.

Step 7:
EDIT PAGES: | Software choices | Notepad Editing
Edit the text on all HTML pages with your information. You can use Frontpage, Dreamweaver, GoLive, any wysiwyg HTML editor or a text editor like Notepad. Take care not to delete any of the HTML tags that surround the text.

Step 8:
Open each of the pages and change the titles (at the very top of the page) and also the description and the keywords to match your product or service. You can edit one page and copy and paste to the other pages. Be careful to only change what's inside the "" so you don't disturb the html code. Page titles are important so your site will get a good listing at Google or MSN and other search engines.

Step 9:
UPLOAD: | Click for more details
Upload the pages on to your hosting company's server using ftp software or Windows Explorer or your control panel. Be sure to upload the "picts" the "products" and the "sounds" folders and all files in these folders.

If you have purchased more than one Minisite of the same template "group" number, for example "mini01" is the name or number of this template group, you can combine pages and/or features easily between these models. Please see this support page for details. To check on new Minisites for upgrades please check this webpage.

YOu can hide the view cart button by editing the "var showcart" in the "sidebar.js" to a "no".

You can replace the Flash logo with a graphic logo. To do this, delete or rename the "header.js", then rename the "graphic_logo_header.js" to "header.js". In the picts folder you will find a graphic called "logo.jpg". Edit this graphic with your logo.

FONTS: | Click for more details
You can change your font colors and sizes by editing the "coolstyle.css" with a text editor. You can find other font colors by clicking here. You can also change the font sizes in the "coolstyle.css" file. Change the "TABLE" px size to change the copy on all pages. Change the "title" px size to change all the title sizes. The background color and other colors are also changed in this CSS file. Click here to use a black font Flash logo.

So all your pages will maintain a standard height a "pageheight.js" file was included. Edit this file in Notepad and you can change the height="625" to any height you need.

HOMEPAGE SOUND: | Click for more details
You can replace the "home-sound.mp3" in the "sounds" folder with your own mp3 sound file, or you can remove the sound by deleting the code between the "FLASH SOUND AREA" notes in the index.html.

CHANGING / ADDING BUTTONS: | Click for more details
You can change the names on the menu buttons like "about us" or "home" to other page names by editing the "menu.js" in Notepad. Only change the one instance of the name and not the name with the ".htm" after it. Whatever you change in the menu.js will change every page on the website. You can also add more menu buttons by copying the lines of code in the menu.js and pasting it right below the next. Be sure to back up your file before you edit them. You will also find menu links to edit in the "footer.js". Links are included in the "sidebar.js" as well. Turn on the sidebar links by choosing "yes" near the top of the "sidebar.js" for the "show sidebar links" line.

ADDING PAGES: | Click for more details
You can add pages to your website by copying and pasting any one of the pages and renaming it to whatever you need. You can then add links from the other pages or even add the page to the menu by opening the menu.js and copying and pasting one of the buttons below another. There are notes in the "menu.js" to help you add a button.

PICTURES: | Click for more details
You can replace the pictures with your own. The pictures are now 750 x 100 pixels but you can use any size picture you want and the pages will size them to fit automatically. Most pages have their own picture which is named according to the page they're on. You will find all pictures in the "picts" folder.
