Be A Hero, Feed and Bless a Child is part of the head ministry - Global Family Outreach Ministry. The vision of GFOM was started by our founder Pastor Paul Waldmiller.

Pastor Paul shares that this vision was directly given to him to begin GFOM while on a short-term missionary trip to Guatemala in 1998. He had seen for himself the devastation and hardship of poor people, especially children in a third world country. Pastor Paul relates so often to that first missionary trip and how has heart was absolutely broken for the poor. He said he cried for weeks.

Global Family Outreach Ministry is dedicated to seeing tens of thousands, perhaps millions, of poor children and their families from all around the world give their hearts to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is done simply by helping practically through establishing Feeding Centers and then feeding the starving children in a community. The meal is a "way in" to the child's life and then to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When children are being  physically fed, they are put on a list to be sponsored by others who can financially support the poor children on a monthly basis -- the Sponsor-A-Child program. When the children are fed both physically and spiritually, they are well adjusted and the parents feel so blessed. That then is the opportunity to share also in the home of the poor child, the love and plan of salvation of the parents and entire family. In third world countries, when one family gives their heart to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, many times other children and their parents also come to Christ. This is one reason we call ourselves Global Family Outreach Ministry.

All around the world, there are millions of people who have not yet either heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ or have accepted Him as Lord and Savior. We work with local Bible-believing born-again pastors and churches to establish Feeding Centers, either at the local church building itself or a school or some nearby building the pastor has access to so they can teach and feed the local poor children. We are equally "yoked" together with the local pastor where we establish poor children Feeding Centers so that there are fewer distractions in regards to such issues as denominationalism, cultural problems, and the need for excessive control. Each pastor and church that GFOM prayerfully chooses to work with has established a good and Biblically sound doctrinal foundational raport with GFOM and Pastor Paul. We are thankful to the Lord because we believe the Lord has given Pastor Paul wisdom with whom to establish relationships on the mission field and there is an accountability for each pastor that works with GFOM. Regular meetings are scheduled with outreach pastors and Pastor Paul to ensure accountability and sound Biblical teachings are adhered to.

We are a 501(c)(3) IRS religious organization and all contributions are tax deductible. We rely totally on God and His people to fund and operate this ministry. Without regular financial support and  the help of God we could not operate this ministry. We are always looking to increase ways to see people give their hearts to Christ so we need regular financial support to do so

We love our Lord and Saviour with all our hearts and desire so earnestly that, as the Great Commission was given by Jesus (Mathew 28:18-20), we do what we are called to and whatever we can to be a blessing to the unsaved to become saved through Jesus (John 3:3, 3:16) and also a blessing to the Body of Christ.
