Greetings once again, friends and family of Global Family Outreach Ministry!

This month, I am also and again, including an update regarding one of the poor children you are helping located at one of our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs, this feeding program is placed on Bohol Island which is home to the famous, Chocolate Hills. Pastor Spurgeon sent me a photo (seen above) of Reggie Guirit and Pastor Spurgeon had this to share about Reggie;

Reggie Guirit, a 10 year was not always the kind of child who sat still or paid attention. In fact, on his first day in Bible class, he came in late, a little shy, and unsure of what to expect. But something about the warm smiles of the teachers and the joyful singing caught his attention. From that day on, he made a quiet decision in his young heart—he would keep coming back. Week after week, Reggie showed up, sometimes early, sometimes still a bit restless, but always present. As he listened to the stories of Scripture, little seeds of truth began to take root in his heart.

As the weeks turned into months, changes in Reggie became noticeable. He began memorizing Bible verses and would proudly recite them, even at home. His parents were surprised when he started reminding them to pray before meals. The boy who once struggled to sit still was now eager to listen, raising his hand to answer questions and even helping other children find their place in the Bible. The Word of God was quietly shaping his thoughts, teaching him kindness, patience, and obedience.

Reggie’s development was not just seen in class, but in his daily life. At school, his teachers noticed he was more respectful and responsible. He began choosing honesty even when it was difficult, remembering the lessons he had learned. When conflicts arose with friends, Reggie would pause and think before reacting, often choosing forgiveness instead of anger. The truths he learned in Bible class were no longer just stories, they were becoming part of who he was.

By the time a year had passed, Reggie was no longer just a student, he had become an example to others. Younger children looked up to him, and teachers trusted him with small responsibilities. His faith was still growing, but it was real and evident. From a hesitant child who simply attended Bible class, Reggie had grown into a young boy grounded in the Word of God, showing that even a small heart, when faithfully taught, can grow strong in truth and character.”

We all love to hear stories like Reggie’s. Many of the over 400 children that you donate to help are growing in Christ. Some a little fast than others, but as the Lord teaches us all in the Bible, take today for today, one day at a time. Honestly, Jorlyn and I are so grateful for all you are doing to bless these many children located at all 11 GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs. We are equally blessed to be able to share some of the stories with you regarding the kids you help. In these times which we live, we all need as much encouragement as we can get, and what better way to be encouraged, than to see the fruit of your love gift in a child’s life to see real and tangible changes for Christ.

Thank you once again for all your prayers coupled with your financial support. This last month we were able to meet our financial goal, but again, not without the help of one specific person who donated 60% of the funds to operate the ministry. Hopefully you read that, “one person is donating 60% to operate GFOM.” I urge all and everyone reading this newsletter, please donate to help these poor kids and efforts to evangelize in difficult places as we are doing. Food and gasoline prices are soaring world-wide and is costing us more to operate too. We have all beautiful people who are supporting this ministry, but we are in real need of more like them to help out too. Our minimum need to operate is now raised to $775 per month to feed over 400 children on a weekly basis.

As I usually do every newsletter, please allow me take a minute to remind you as well that Global Family Outreach Ministry is much more than Poor Children’s Feeding Programs. I am a licensed Christian therapist and provide counseling for individuals and families. We also have a church planting ministry, evangelism and also human and sex trafficking rescue mission. We provide all this under GFOM. If ever you or your church has a need in these areas, or would like to invite Jorlyn and I to speak at your church regarding GFOM and what we provide, please feel free to contact Jorlyn and I so that we can prayerfully be a blessing to you or your church as well.

If you choose to mail us a check or money order for the ministry, please always use the P.O. Box address listed on the website, never to our home. Sending a check to our home is not a guarantee that we will receive it.
