Greetings to you and I earnestly pray that the Lord Jesus is with you in every way s you receive this update,

This month’s newsletter is a bit different than the usual report that I send to you each and every month. The usual GFOM Monthly Report is usually filled with operation updates of our feeding programs only, which I will certainly give to you, but this month, I also bring you some of the realizations of what is occurring all around the world including here in the United States and our 8 Poor Children’s Feeding Programs there.

First, if you didn’t already read about or hear, over the last weekend, that is for Christians, Resurrection Sunday, aka, Easter Weekend, there was an incident in Tennessee where a person or group of individuals took a trailer of Bibles and burned them. As well, there have been a rash of fires set at Roman Catholic church buildings here in America and Canada. Additionally, the Philippines is having its territory attacked by Chinese naval ships. There is now talk of war between China and the Philippines at sometime in the near future. If that isn’t enough trouble in our world, for several years now, Muslims in Nigeria continue their attacks and killing of Christians there,

What is my point of sharing all this recent news with you? It is a simple reminder to you as I have shared with some of you in the past, how Global Family Outreach Ministry is a Biblical end-time ministry to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. There are literally thousands who die without Christ in their life every day. I’m sure this fact makes you as sad as it does myself, but we do not ever lose heart, for Jesus has chosen you and I to work hard to share the Gospel with many, not only in the Philippines, but all around the world. He is our only answer to what can clearly be called the end-times spoken about by Jesus Himself in Matthew Chapter 24 as well as other books found in the Bible. As we approach further troubles, we can take comfort that Jesus has not left us helpless and He will always be with us. Therefore, we continue to press even harder towards sharing the Gospel with others, including children and their families in the Philippines so that they too have hope!

Now I wish to switch from troubles, to vision. Our vision is to continue in our work in several areas, but that I do not often share about with you. The first is regarding our Angel House project. If you were not aware, Angel House would be a house to help protect and help heal sex trafficked children in the Philippines. We have one faithful giver every month for several years now and we have over $700 towards the hefty financial goal of approximately $200,000 to purchase a small building and hire some government required staff to operate the home. It remains our vision, prayers and hope that the Lord and His people will soon bring this very needed project to fruition.

The other GFOM program is our Sponsor-A-Child program. I am not usually actively asking for sponsors for this program because we are barely meeting our financial goal for the 8 Poor Children’s Feeding Program every month. On occasion, we have a person donate for a month or 2 in sponsoring one of the 330 poor kids. We ask only for $30. Jorlyn and I are well aware how some of you are making a big sacrifice already with help towards the 8 GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs, but I am asking for others who have the means to please also help sponsor a child. I am brining up the sponsorship program new because I was contacted in March by one of the Bible teachers at several of our GFOM Feeding programs. He shared with me how one of the children, “Hazel” witnessed her father recently being arrested for drug possession and her mother had passed away a few years ago. Hazel only has her 19-year-old sister to care for her. You can see Hazel’s photo at the top of this newsletter. Hazel is the type of child that we see all over the Philippines. There is not enough money in the world to help every child in need across the Philippines, but many of the 330 children that do attend our feeding programs have some sort of financially need to help them, just like Hazel. Like the Angel House project, perhaps God has put it on your heart to help here.

Our prayers continue that at soon we will begin our 9th Poor Children’s Feeding Program. We have discussed a new feeding program where sister Nancy currently has her church in Mindanao. There are many children who walk from a nearby lake where it is often muddy and they need to wear boots, sometimes they cannot attend the feeding program at Nancy’s church because of too much rain and mud. We are looking for a way, and asking the Lord to open a feeding area for us near the lake area, but away from the mud. That would definitely also see an increase in parents as well as family members coming to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Finally, and always, we want to once again share with you how very, very appreciative we are of you who have donated to help these poor and malnourished children. We are grateful to the Lord for your continued love gifts throughout 2024. Thank you so very much!

If you have never, or haven’t in some time sent a love gift to bless the children and their families that we serve, please help and also indicate where you want your donation to be placed. We have many programs to be a help and blessing to all whom we serve. Thank you
