Greetings family and friends of GFOM,

This month we come to you with a heavy, but blessed hearts.

I personally would like to share the story of Jene Cortez who just passed from Earth, unto Heaven.

Late last Fall, some of you who have financially gave to this Gospel-centered ministry, gave enough financial help to see a relatively small evangelistic outreach take place in a new area in which we were opening a new GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program. Thank God for your faithfulness because little Jene and her entire family came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Although Jene was suffering from Leukemia, she had enough strength to come to Jesus as Savior and now is in the loving hands and arms of Jesus. Jene went home to the Lord on January 8, 2020. It has always been our solid and Biblical belief that it is necessary for every person come to know Jesus in a Biblical way. That is, the way Jesus Himself to come unto Him and we in the twelve years of ministry, have been faithful.

Little Jene is just one story of literally thousands of stories we could share about the work in which we are involved. The Bible states that each of us, you included who co-labor with us with your financial support, will receive crowns for our work for the Lord. Later in Heaven we will get to lay those crowns at the feet of Jesus. I cannot emphasize how grateful we here at GFOM are for you who have been part of this ministry and all we do for the Lord.

God is a merciful God and I for one, look forward to meeting little Jene in Heaven someday, but until then, there are millions of little girls and boys just like Jene who need to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. I am asking that in our end-times before the Lord is sure to return, that you give a little more, or perhaps give for the very first times to see more folks come to Jesus.

The Lord loves you and has a terrific plan for you, and all of us. We may not live long here on Earth, but will live forever with Jesus!

December, 2019 Global Family Outreach Ministry Report

Greetings family and friends of GFOM,

We hope and pray that this letter will be both a blessing as well as an inspiration to you for the upcoming year.

As we closed out 2019, I reflect upon those of you who have been faithful unto the Lord and also in helping the approximately 120 children that we serve together at our three different GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs. Glory to God, you have blessed many of these children to not only know Jesus as Lord and Savior, but some of their family members as well!

What a blessed year 2019 was and God certainly showed His favor through your giving and love-gifts to see the name of Jesus exalted. I would love to share our plans here with you for the year 2020, but I will instead, remain focused on 2019. The all-volunteer team we have in the Philippines are hard and dedicated workers. They are faithful to see feeding done as well as follow-up visits with the children and family members in their homes. All done for the Kingdom of Heaven. Praise the Lord.

It has always been the main goal of Global Family Outreach Ministry to see souls saved in and through Jesus of the Bible. No doubt through your partnering with us, you have brought souls to Christ. Thank you! For me personally, 2019 represented eleven years as the President and Director of Global Family Outreach Ministry. I’ve seen all the good, the bad, and even at times, the ugly (to borrow from a movie title). For the unknowing, being involved in Christian ministry is a difficult vocation often filled with bad times as well as good times. We certainly have our times of tears of heartache as well as tears of joy.

I sincerely pray that you will continue your partnering in the mission field throughout the year 2020. We cannot take one minute to relax or draw-back on our efforts. We have reports from our pastors there that many children and some adults have not only come to Jesus of the Bible as Lord and Savior, but many are happy to receive their free meals as well.

Another month of blessed news for you

Throughout this month we’ve seen our third GFOM Poor Children’s feeding Programs explode in number with very hungry children. Not only hungry for physical food, but spiritual food also! Praise the lord for that. We continually see children coming to Christ and reports of growth in Christ as well as the children return each week to eat, and learn more what the Bible teaches.

Each GFOM feeding program is unique as of course each contains different children, but the message of Christ Jesus remains the same. We wish you to know that you sow your love-gifts into this ministry, you are not only aiding Global Family Outreach Ministry, you are also co-laborer’s with us as well! A VERY BIG Thank you to those of you who make sacrifice, and work so diligently to see the beautiful souls of both children and adults who now know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

How Great and awesome is God!

During July, we’ve seen our two GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs become so successful, we are praying for a third! Over 50 professions of faith during July, 2019 by both children as well as adults that we are serving! That is real and Godly Fruit-Thank you Jesus.

We take a look around the world with so many tragedies occurring. We know that the Lord Jesus is still on the throne though, and He told us to stay involved in sharing His Gospel message until He returns for us, and this exactly what you are doing when you give your monthly gift to GFOM!

Global Family Outreach Ministry Newsletter for June, 2019

We earnestly pray the Lord is blessing you and this newsletter finds you blessed in the Lord!

Praise the Lord, our Negros Island Poor Children’s Feeding Programs continues to be fully operational and this July(at the times of this newsletter being written) we will be opening an additional GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program also on the Island of Negros. So, that will make two GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs there. Remember, the point of our GFOM Feeding Programs are to see many children fed both physically and spiritually. The children’s parents and family visitation and evangelism will always be a strong part of our outreach.

During the Month of June, You helped feed children at our GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program weekly during Vactrain Bible school. What an awesome sight to see children who are not in school, all on their own, attend the GFOM Feeding program and receive Jesus both spiritually and physically. For those of you who have been our partners to realize the Lord’s work here, Thank you and God bless you! Souls are being saved while little tummy’s being fed! Wow! What a blessing to be part-of!

Monthly we send you an update to show you the awesome work we are doing through the Lord. We also enclose photos so you know that we are always good stewards of the funds you send us for the Lord’s work. I hope that you enjoy the photos and also pray with all sincerity for the malnourished children and their families. They need all the support and help they can get.  

Financial help is always a struggle for us and rather than constantly begging people to donate their love gifts, we are always looking for good folks to donate auto-vehicles such as well operating/running cars, motorcycles, trucks, vans, commercial vehicles and boats to Global Family Outreach Ministry so we can sell them to raise funds for the feeding of the children. If you, or if you know anyone who is willing to donate a good and decent running vehicle to GFOM, please let us know. We will give anyone who donates to GFOM, a tax-deductible receipt.

We pray and hope that the Lord is blessing you and this newsletter finds you in great health as well as overall strength in and through Him!

We have instituted some changes during the month of May. We have temporarily stopped our GFOM Feeding Program in Cebu so they can evangelize and see mature the new Christians brought through your support of this ministry. They will be taking a one-year break to work on that-Praise the Lord! Also, our Negros Island Poor Children’s Feeding Programs continues to be fully operational and this July(next month) we will be opening an additional GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Program also on the Island of Negros. So, that will make two GFOM Poor Children’s Feeding Programs there. Remember, the point of our GFOM Feeding Programs are to see many children fed both physically and spiritually. This was a large outreach seeing many come to Christ which included both children and adults. There are many in the Philippines who do not know Jesus of the Bible as Lord and Savior, but we hope to do our share of giving an opportunity of every person around the world, to make that decision to Christ and thankfully, you are a vital member of our ministry team. We couldn’t do what we do without your help! Thank you to all who are faithfully helping us through both your prayers and love-gifts each and every month!

Both our Cebu and Negros Island Poor Children’s Feeding Programs were fully operational during April. Many children fed both physically and spiritually. The children’s parents and families were visited and we have reports of salvations and baptisms!! Praise The Lord. What a blessed ministry you are involved in and we cannot thank those of you who are financially helping, enough! 

May begins the school break for 1 month across the Philippines but our feeding program does not end! Please remember our VBS sponsored feeding programs. Jesus doesn’t take a vacation and neither do we 🙂
